What is included today
This first edition contains 159 state fire-service office entries sourced from the U.S. Fire Administration state points of contact, plus 16 national organization and resource entries. State office entries cover all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, tribal contacts and Department of Defense contacts. Coverage is broader for fire-service offices than for other services; this is not a complete list of U.S. first responder departments or businesses.
Dates and availability
Source pages were checked October 24, 2026. USFA lists June 9, 2026 as its page review date. A source check does not mean Hub911 independently contacted every office or verified every telephone number. Follow the source link for current details.
National fire department listings
USFA states that its legacy National Fire Department Registry stopped accepting updates in June 2026 and directs readers to NERIS for current department listings. Hub911 links to that directory instead of presenting the frozen registry as current.
How listings are reviewed
Organization-submitted listings are reviewed before publication. The listing should identify the organization, its service, location and official website. A directory entry is a connection to a source, not an endorsement or a dispatch service.
Request a correction
Send a correction with the listing name, what changed and a link to the organization’s current information.
Service artwork
The fire-service category emblem adapts the published Firefighter’s Cross sourced from Wikimedia Commons (public domain; Nafsadh, AnonMoos and Spider). The Star of Life is sourced from Wikimedia Commons (U.S. Department of Transportation public-domain symbol). The Public Works First Responder symbol is published by the American Public Works Association and is shown in its original square proportions and colors. These identify service categories. Photographs illustrate professional roles.
